The GLObal Conference for Women Leaders and Emerging Researchers in Materials Science, an inaugural conference hosted by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore from 9 to 11 July 2024 as we celebrate the achievements of women in materials science and chart a course for further empowerment. Dedicated to exploring the opportunities for women in Science & Engineering, NTU Singapore proudly hosts the first of many biannual events. This unique conference aims to shine a spotlight on the remarkable contributions of women leaders while providing a platform for emerging researchers to showcase their talents and form meaningful connections within the field.

Registration Policies

  • The conference fee is non-refundable upon completion of payment.
  • We only accept Visa/MasterCard and PayNow for payment and apologise for any inconvenience due to limited payment options. All bank charges incurred are the responsibility of the payee.
  • Students eligible for discounted rates must submit valid proof of status, such as proof of enrollment or a student ID, by emailing these documents to the Conference Secretariat at glow2024@ntu.edu.sg for verification purposes. The conference committee reserves the right to request additional supporting documents to validate the discount eligibility and may deregister participants who fail to comply after communication. The decision from the conference committee is final.
  • The conference committee will not facilitate claims to your university or organisation for reimbursement of the fee paid. Participants are responsible for submitting any claims to their respective organizations directly.
